make:space is a collaboration between Haidee Drew and Jo Davies. They curate projects and exhibitions that promote design-led skills and facilitate a creative exchange through collaboration.
They met at the Royal College of Art and, since graduating in 2007, have built up their own individual design practices. Their interests in design began with a passion for making with materials; as make:space they will present materials-led design objects of a high standard in a way that will enrich exhibitors and viewers alike. make:space was begun in 2010 as an idea, a reaction against exhibition platforms that are financially high risk for designers that, with a changing financial landscape, are becoming less and less viable.
